Fractional & Interim Leadership For
CRITICAL. GROWTH. MOMENTS.
Many businesses reach a point where growth is real, but leadership capacity, decision-making or execution starts to feel stretched. Florido is typically engaged at this stage to help founders, investors and boards maintain momentum while keeping control.
Hands-on leadership. Not advisory theatre.
Typical situations we’re brought into
What Florido Does
Florido is typically engaged when a business has traction, but performance needs to be strengthened as the company scales. When leadership change creates execution risk. Or when complexity has crept in, and momentum needs to be restored without breaking what already works.
This is hands-on leadership, not advisory theatre. Clear decisions. Real accountability. Momentum you can feel for businesses that need to move decisively, not discuss endlessly.
Engagements typically run 60–180 days and are focused on outcomes, not analysis.

A typical engagement runs for 60–180 days and begins with a rapid diagnosis of the commercial or leadership issue at hand. From there, I step in as a fractional CEO or COO with clear ownership, decision rights, and agreed outcomes.
The focus is practical and hands-on. I work directly with the board and executive team, stabilise execution and help the organisation move forward with clarity.
Engagements are time-bound, outcome-led and designed to reduce risk rather than add complexity.
-
Yes. In some situations, a full interim mandate is the right approach. Philip takes on interim CEO and COO roles when a business needs continuous leadership during a transition, turnaround, or post-deal period.
Interim and fractional engagements are structured differently, but both are hands-on, time-bound and focused on outcomes. The right model depends on the urgency, scope, and level of day-to-day leadership required.
-
Interim and fractional engagements differ mainly in intensity and continuity, not seniority or authority.
An interim mandate involves stepping into a full-time CEO or COO role for a defined period, typically during a transition, turnaround, or post-deal phase where day-to-day leadership is required.
A fractional engagement provides the same senior ownership and decision-making, but on a part-time basis. It’s used when the business needs experienced leadership and momentum, without the need for a full-time presence.
The decision between Florido Interim or Florido Fractional support is made early, usually in the first conversation. It depends on the level of risk, the strength and capacity of the existing leadership team and how much day-to-day ownership is needed.
The aim is always to use the lightest structure that still delivers clarity, momentum and results.
